The Sweeting's Cosmetology and Braiding Institute LLC is perfect if you want to learn hair braiding or work with Black hair. On Google, Keniah Cannon raves, "Every time I stepped foot in the school, I learned something new and exciting. She is going to teach you all aspects of the hair business."
Their cosmetology program is the only school in Nashville where you can learn natural hair styling like braids, locs, twist, and weaves. Students focus on all aspects of natural hair care.
The braiding boot camp is a 16-hour fast-track course that allows you to become a certified hair braider.
You can also join the 300-hour natural hair styling program or complete your continuing education hours to maintain your licensure. Online classes are also available.
