Words can’t describe how grateful I am for being a part of this family for a year. Since day one I had a feeling that this school is the best and I wasn’t wrong. First of all, I want to say huge thank you who made this process for me super smooth and easy - my teachers Veronica, Raul and Michael. I wouldn’t be able to do it without you and ur guidance. So much of fun memories with you, guys. Endlessly greatful for meeting every single and one of you and having a chance to absorb knowledge that you provided. Also hugeeee thank you to Olga (director of admissions) who does everything possible to make sure the whole process goes smooth and easy, who’s super informative and supportive and guides you thru the whole process with so much care. Thank you Olga for believing in me, supporting me and being by my side this past year. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who wants to start their carrier is beauty industry. And everyone who works there will make sure your process as smooth as it can be. My book has turned the page and began a new chapter at one of the best salons in Miami ( Peter Alexander Salon) where I continue follow my passion for hair and beauty , but you guys will stay in my heart forever❤️ Thank you , thank you , thank you 🫶🏻

Pretty disappointed with my experiences here. While the prices are enticing, it truly is a gamble of what you're going to get given it’s all students and a school. I unfortunately had a new student to wash/blow dry, which took 1.5 hours and that was with part of it unfinished since I had to be elsewhere and it was taking way too long - definitely not something I can sit through again, not worth my time. Decided to give it another shot, Olga mentioned I can request someone with more experience next time, so I did just that and mentioned to her I would really appreciate being placed with someone who has more experience as I don’t want to leave a bad review from my first experience and am hoping for a better experience this time around (I was planning to write a review for the free hair treatment they offer in exchange for doing so, so I did want to leave a good review). However, my second experience was even worse, they cancelled my appointment 5 minutes before the start time - literally was parking my car when they called (not to mention had already rearranged my day of meetings for the appointment). The Institute may be teaching their students the practical application and styling concepts, however, they completely lack professionalism and business etiquette - something they should consider teaching, the Director (Raul) needs a refresher on that. Olga was actually very nice and tried to help accommodate/make good both times – she is really helpful, but the Director (Raul) is the opposite. He was very unwilling to accommodate or make good, didn't even offer another appointment on another day, just absolutely did not care. The student called out sick, but they have zero backup plan for those situations and I am more so disappointed in how the Director handled the situation. I would potentially give it one more chance, but if you don’t have a flexible schedule and need a guaranteed appointment, I would encourage you to find a regular salon where you know what you're going to get and that has better customer service/etiquette, not a school type of salon because there is zero customer value if you’re not a student.
