I am a student here and I haven’t been so excited to do something I love. The amount of clients we get is insane. We get the good and bad ones but mostly good ones. But the owner Micheal Marks is absolutely fantastic. When it comes to an ugly customer he will stick up for every single one of us and really show those people who is BOSS! Anyways this school is an amazing hands on experience and you learn so much. Not only do you work on mannequin heads you also work on real people. We even work on each other and that is always so fun. So I am so FHA BOUND!!! If you wanna go to a cosmetology school then Franklin Hair Academy is it for you!

UPDATE: THE BUSINESS REPLIED WITH NOTHING BUT A BUNCH OF LIES IN ORDER TO 'LOOK GOOD' IN FRONT OF THE PUBLIC. (GO IN FOR A SERVICE AND SEE FOR YOURSELVES) - AFTER THEIR UNBELIEVABLE RIDICULOUS RESPONSES, THEY SHOULD EVEN BE REPORTED TO THE STATE AND NOT EVEN BE ALLOWED TO SERVICE THE PUBLIC. 🚨 STAY AWAY FROM THEM AND FIND A LEGIT BEAUTY SCHOOL THAT IS NOT ADMINISTRATED BY IMMATURE IDIOTS.
Stay away from this place. I understand the prices reflects the services that are performed by students, however, when they state 30-45 minutes for a basic facial but provide a 14 MINUTES where they just rubbed 3 creams on top of another, without massaging, without analyzing your skin or anything else at all, it's just plain ridiculous. Not to mention that we had an appointment scheduled for over 10 days and they still made us wait 37 minutes in the front desk area. I am not the type that complains or writes reviews, but as a former aesthetician, I absolutely cannot accept how ridiculous this paid 'service' was. Chloe Moss was the student/aesthetician that took care of us. She offers the services on facebook and states she is almost done in school, after canceling on us the first time and making us wait 37 minutes up front for our second scheduled appointment that she pretended to perform in 14 minutes (LITERALLY ON THE WATCH) , I strongly believe this is not a career they are choosing it right, by being so sloppy and unbelievably unprofessional before they are not even given the legal right to hold their licenses. What an incredible disappointment, run away from this place, if you are looking to get regular beauty salon visits with an affordable price, there are several other beauty schools in the same area that surely will have more competent people who are serious about their career choice while building clientele.

Editor's Description
The Franklin Hair Academy School of Cosmetology has been educating students for over 10 years. Brock Lee S. explains, "The instructors are on the floor, readily available, but do not 'hover.' Unlike other salons, these students take the time to listen to their clients, learn what the client's vision really is, and then take their time achieving the results the client wants."
The cosmetology program is 1,500 hours or 12 months of full-time study. Their aesthetics certificate is 750 hours of study, which typically takes around 25 weeks to complete.
You can also earn a manicuring certificate in their 600-hour program that requires an average of 20 weeks to graduate. If you're already licensed in your field, the teacher training program allows you to educate future students and only takes 300 hours, or around 10 weeks.
After graduation, 73% of graduates from the cosmetology, aesthetics, and manicuring programs find jobs.
