Receptionist placed me on hold & hung up on me. Prior to that we had had a full conversation about hairstyles etc. Be weary of this place not sure who the receptionist is but she's going to make this place lose business because of her bad customer service! Do better lady whoever you are. It's rude to hang up on someone who was nothing but respectful. I just wanted a simple appt scheduled it could have all been so simple! What is wrong with ppl these days????

If I could give it a 0, I would. They are a very untrustworthy school. Changing terms in the contracts after they have already been signed, ignoring emails about reimbursements for passing state boards tests (contract says they will), they lost Ms. kym who was an amazing instructor and keeps having the students bounce from teacher to teacher. Everybody tells you different things. I do not recommend this school for esthetics, at all.

This Wonderful Hidden Gem is Absolutely Amazing. I took my Mother turning 90 for a Perm, cut & style. They made her feel like a Queen!! Her hair turned out Absolutely Gorgeous!! The Instructor's name was Jackie, she was Amazing!! She checked on every process Every Step through out the Entire Process, to make sure Everything was Perfect!! The 2 Senior stylist Flor & Araceli were Awesome they deserve so much Credit where credit is due, they we're so kind & Amazing!! I Highly Recommend this Beauty School for any of your needs!! Located in Nashville, the Shear Perfection Academy of Cosmetology is "no ordinary beauty school." On Google, Michelle Leon says, "The Aesthetics program is unbeatable. Without Mrs. Kym, the school would not be what it is. You can't get this education with any other instructor."
Their cosmetology program is 1,500 hours, which takes between 11 and 14 months to complete. Expect your study to split focus between general, chemical, and physical topics.
The 750-hour esthetics program trains you in massage therapy, facials, skin care, and makeup application. The hybrid education format combines book learning with hands-on training.
You can also sign up for the in-demand nail technician program, which focuses on 600 hours of advanced nail techniques and safety standards.
Finally, check out the instructor program if you want to become a teacher in your field. The 300 hours take two months of full-time or three months of part-time study.
The school also offers plenty of opportunities to help pay for your education, including financial aid and scholarships.
