My appointment was at 11 AM. I was a few minutes late so by the time my stylist started it was probably 11:15 AM... I did not leave until 3:30 in the afternoon… This was just for a haircut and blow dry… Something very simple… I do have thick hair, but I made the receptionist know that I have thick hair and that I wanted someone that could work on that type of hair when I booked my appointment… the stylist that I had was really nice but you could tell she was very nervous when cutting my hair… She asked for someone to come check her work every 15 to 20 minute.... around 3 o'clock I finally said to her about how much longer and she said I will speed up things for you… She was finally done at around 3:30 PM… Again she started on my hair at 11:15 in the morning, approximately four hours earlier… Unfortunately, my hair feels choppy. It's not at all the way I showed her in the picture that I wanted it to look like... when I finally went up to check out the receptionist asked how my experience was and I told her it was horrible that I just waited 4 hours for a simple haircut and style and I felt that was unacceptable… She actually made a comment in regards to that's why she couldn't find my ticket because it disappeared after it being so long....She offered no kind of sympathy as to " let me get a manager and have you talk to them about it"...Basically just said sorry and you can insert your credit card in the machine now... while she was taking my credit card information, she actually had the gall to say to me when can we reschedule you… I just looked at her and said, are you kidding me I won't be back… She still just said oh I'm sorry and that was it, basically have a good day and bye… I know they are students working there. I've actually been there before, but even so again a simple haircut and blow dry should not take four hours… I will NOT recommend them to anyone.

It was my first time going for highlights and it was not a good experience. I was already on my way when I received a call that my 9:30am had been moved to 10:30am. Since my mom came over to stay with my kids, I thought I’d just wait over there. At 10:40am the student gets me and begins to work on me. I do have a lot of hair (it was shoulder length when they started to foil) so I knew it would take a while just not long as it did. The student asked 3 educators for help with questions and help from a fellow student to help her finish the foiling. At 5 something the student says she has to leave along with her helper because they haven’t eaten and another student takes over. This student seemed a bit more experienced and came to correct the work from the first student. There were lots of mistakes (I know they are students but just look at how long I had already been there) She asked another 2 educators for guidance and she tried as best she could to fix it. I left there at 8:43pm….about to pass out because I only had two bags of chips from their vending machine to eat all day. I believe customer service should be an important part of their education and I feel that I was not treated fairly. I was there for over 11 hours without being able to leave for a meal, having to ask my mom to stay way longer than anticipated with my kids and still paid for the full price for the hair service. It’s a beautiful school but personally I will not be going again.
