I am extremely disappointed with the Nail Tech program at Houston Training School. There is little to no structure, and the lack of a real lesson plan makes it difficult to learn effectively. The program feels unorganized, leaving students feeling lost and unprepared. One of the biggest issues is that you do not receive your kit until you reach 150 hours. This means that for a significant portion of the program, you have no real resources to practice with unless you purchase everything out of pocket beforehand. Considering the cost of tuition, it is unacceptable that students are expected to provide their own supplies for such a long period. Aside from the lack of structure, I did have a financial crisis, and the director was very kind and offered to switch me to the main campus, which gives me some hope. However, I remain dissatisfied with the overall program. Another issue is that there is no real sense of teamwork or community because students start at different times, making it difficult to build connections or have a consistent learning experience. Overall, this program does not provide the proper foundation or support needed to succeed in the nail industry. While I appreciate the director’s willingness to accommodate my situation, I would not recommend this program to anyone looking for a well-structured, professional learning experience.

I would like to recommend you guys this school because the staff inside this school are very sweet and understanding. They help you through out anything you need and make things from negative to positive. They give you a lot more confidence and motivate you through your time there. They help you master on what your focused on the most and that’s very lovely.
