Georgia license renewal requirements differ between license types. Master cosmetologists must renew by March 31 of even-numbered years. Cosmetology instructors, esthetician instructors, nail technician instructors, and barber instructors must renew by June 30 of odd-numbered years. Estheticians and nail technicians must renew by August 31 of odd-numbered years. Barbers are expected to renew by December 31 of even-numbered years. During each two-year renewal period, you must complete 5 hours of continuing education.

You may want to get as much diverse experience as possible by working in a walk-in nail salon that serves people of all ages and styles. From there, you may become self-employed and rent a manicure chair at a local salon or open your own nail salon. Nail salons are often open nights and weekends, giving you some flexibility in your schedule. Nail technicians in Georgia may enjoy job growth in this industry. Working as a Nail Technician

Nail technicians take care of a client's fingernails and toenails with manicures, pedicures, shaping, cuticle care, callus removal, synthetic nail treatments and applying nail polish. Georgia requirements for becoming a nail tech are as follows;
