If you want to work as an esthetician in North Carolina, consider employment in Raleigh, Durham, or Fayetteville. In a 2016 study of the quality of skin health and skincare services in cities in the U.S., Durham ranked 50th, Raleigh 76th, Fayetteville 136th.  The prevalence of skin cancer and the number of skincare services provided were the most significant areas for potential improvement.
