When you need to renew your Oregon electrology license, you will work with the Oregon Health Licensing Office. They require that electrologists complete a 600-hour minimum program. The renewal process takes place every year. The fee is $45 if you pay on time. If you pay late, but within a year, your cost will be $75. Oregon does not require you to take continuing education units. However, these are offered by the American Electrology Association, and can greatly impact your career and quality of work.
