If you want to become a cosmetology instructor in Ohio, you will need to look at the license application from the state board of cosmetology. In this state, you must complete 1,800 hours of work experience before you can qualify. The fees for renewing your instructor’s license are currently $45, and will be due by January 31st of odd-numbered years. Instructors must also complete 8 board-approved continuing education units during every renewal period in order to stay current in their licensure.
